Captain

Our Captain, Staci Rosenberg, is our Muse leader. She dedicates most of her personal time to making the Krewe of Muses the incredible organization it is.

Executive Committee

Our Executive Committee is headed by our Captain and includes our committee chairmen. The committee meets monthly throughout the year planning and managing the krewe’s community activity, theme, throws, bands, membership, communications, events and every aspect of the Krewe of Muses. Committee members are all volunteer leaders of the Krewe of Muses. No committee member may profit from the work she does for the Krewe of Muses.

Float Lieutenants

Each float has two lieutenants and they share equal responsibilities. The lieutenants help the riders have a safe and fun ride. If a rider has a problem, such as, costumes, throws, substitutes or membership, she should contact one of her lieutenants for assistance. The lieutenants are the link to the riders and the committees. The Krewe of Muses relies on lieutenants to make sure the riders are kept informed on, deadlines, the need for volunteers and various events through out the year. You will be in touch with your lieutenant for your float party where you will receive your costume and mask and plan for your headdresses. She is also responsible for checking your float before the parade and for checking in your throw packages. She also collects money from her riders for headdresses and float dues.

Members who want to be more involved should first see if they can assist their float lieutenant and get involved in the community projects. There are also volunteer opportunities with committee chairwomen and members are encouraged the contact the committees directly or the volunteer coordinator.
